Galvanise is a business development and marketing consultancy based in the Midlands but serving the whole of the UK.
Galvanise was established in 2014 by its founder, Richard Ayres, having spent thirteen years in-house, professionalising the business development and marketing activities of two world leaders in their respective sectors namely accountancy and intellectual property.
At PwC, the world’s largest professional services firm, he served as a marketing manager for their Midlands region (a £160 million turnover business), overseeing marketing and business development efforts that led to consistent double digit growth at a time when the firm as a whole was struggling to achieve low single digit figures.
Richard then moved on to Withers & Rogers, one of Europe’s leading firms of patent and trade mark attorneys, where he built its marketing function from scratch and was instrumental in helping to drive growth in excess of 70% in just six years.
He also spent seven years at the world’s largest and most respected car manufacturer, Toyota Motor Corporation where he ran the media relations function for their UK car manufacturing subsidiary, was responsible for internal communications for its 3,000 strong workforce, provided vital support to its UK distributor (Toyota GB) during new model launches and, was integral in maintaining positive and mutually fruitful relationships between local councils, MP’s, MEP’s, Government agencies and NGO’s.
A key factor behind the success achieved has been the close attention paid to corporate communications both externally and internally, winning the hearts and minds of business owners, employees and external stakeholders alike.
